I'm Les, owner of Jhené and Grey (pronounced, Juh-nay) - a minority-owned, woman-owned, family business. I'm a local 30-something with a corporate fashion background and a dream to never return to the confines of a cubicle. You'll see a lot of me around the shop and on social media, but when I'm not working you can catch me at the pool or sharpening up my roller skating skills with my family. 

I started JG with the help of my husband, Ant, in 2019 as a children’s e-commerce platform carrying trendy children’s clothing and accessories. The vision was largely inspired by our daughter KB, a toddler at the time. I loved shopping for her and dressing her in ways that expressed her vibrant personality, but was tired of being limited to the same repeat-styles that were available at popular U.S. children’s retailers.

In early 2020 at the start of the pandemic, we introduced women’s loungewear to the assortment in sizes S-L. With so many people now working from home, it made sense to offer fashion-forward loungewear options to replace traditional "business casual" office attire. As interest in our womenswear grew, so did the demand for additional styles and eventually, broader sizing.

In order to better serve our growing adult customer base, we made the difficult decision to stop selling childrenswear and shift our focus towards curating our women’s selection. We now carry a wide range of women’s styles and sizes from S-3X.

In June 2021 we opened our storefront at 86 High St., Mount Holly, NJ. A dream that felt so distant became reality almost overnight and we couldn’t feel more “at home.” Being township residents ourselves, we have loved getting to know our neighbors over the last few months!

We pride ourselves on being your neighborhood *lifestyle* boutique. We serve looks for all shapes and sizes and most occasions. Our customers know they can pop in anytime during normal business hours to catch up, spill a little tea, or shop 'till they drop!!
